Ferdie's Enterprises, Inc. Negotiates Land Purchase!

After several months of negotiations Ferdie's Enterprises, Inc. has almost
agreed on the purchase of an a joining property to one of its restaurants, that
will be utilized for parking; With the new expansion we need more parking to
handle the influx of our new customers, this will not only be a boost to our
business, but to our investor share holders. We estimate that this land purchase
will enhance our revenue 40 to 50 percent over the next 12 months and add
200,000 in equity to our business.

"Chef Trey Wirth missed the part of the business plan about location, location, location, but more than makes up the deficit with interior ambiance, service, food preparation and presentation. Warm and convivial wait staff provides attentiveness without intrusion. The exterior does not prepare you for the interior (be adventurous). The food and service is easily a 3-star. We have dined at Brennan's, Cafe A*nnie, A*méricas, P*esce and rate Chef Trey's cuisine equal or superior. Tonight was our first visit and we had the crab cakes appetizer, shrimp Jaclyn with mixed wild rice & rustic carrots (my wife), shish kebab with rosemary baby potatoes & spinach with dried tomatoes (myself) , finishing with raspberry Italian cream cake and coffee. In many fine restaurants the entree dominates the plate and the sides are an after thought, not here. The sides are equal participants in pleasing the gourmet or gourmand. The Black Swan is not pretentious, but provides the rare, memorable dining experience. On the far north side, a must experience at a reasonable price (entrees $15-$25)." - Kelly
"My wife and I recently tried a new restaurant in Spring that turned out to be surprisingly good: Black Swan, 18719 Mirror Lake Drive, Spring TX 77388. The owner/chef is Trey Wirth and he seems to be onto something with his new creation: the steel building is quirkily charming on the inside and can seat perhaps 40 people, about half with "action seating" around the open kitchen. We started our dinner with a marvelous baked brie on baguette with sherry glazed mushrooms, and then were pleasantly surprised by the delightful flavor and tenderness of our Chateau Briand for two with caramelized carrots, all served up with more of the those tasty mushrooms. Although feeling quite contented, we tempted fate by ordering their bread pudding - it was absolutely perfect and included the best whiskey sauce we have tasted in decades! Service was consistently good with lots of personal attention from all of the staff, including a friendly visit by Trey.
Trey is awaiting his liquor license, but for a modest corkage fee ($10) we brought our own good wine which topped off a truly excellent meal from start to finish.
Spring has suffered a shortage of truly good places to eat for many years and as a result my wife and I usually drive to The Woodlands or downtown Houston to get a really good dinner. So it is a pleasant surprise to discover this great restaurant just a few miles from our home.
We shall dine there again, and again... Reportedly so are many of their neighbors who walk over for dinner night after night.
